About

Dan Tully is a passionate photographer based in Beverly, Massachusetts, where he resides with his wife Michelle and their son James. With a keen eye for capturing a diverse range of subjects, Dan enjoys photographing everything from portraiture to urban landscapes.

His journey into photography began at the age of 15 when his parents gifted him his first point-and-shoot camera for a school trip to Germany. Since then, photography has been an integral part of his life, evolving from a hobby into a profound artistic pursuit.

Dan has a strong affinity for film photography, favoring its timeless quality over digital formats. He is particularly fond of shooting with vintage cameras, appreciating the unique character and charm they bring to his work. Recently, he has delved into the art of darkroom printing, exploring the traditional methods of developing and printing his photographs.

Through his photography, Dan seeks to capture not just images but moments frozen in time, each frame telling its own story. He believes in the authenticity and raw beauty of film photography, embracing its imperfections as part of the artistic process.

When he's not behind the lens, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new locations for inspiration, and immersing himself in the rich history of photography.
